Last night I was watching TV and I found an old Mexican soap opera called “La Picara Soñadora” and it brought me a lot of memories.
It was aired in the afternoon and I tried to come early home from school to do my homework and my home chores to be allowed to watch it.
It’s about a law student girl (Lupita), that works in a department store in the toys section, who lives with her godfather in a small house nearby the department store. Lupita meets a guy in the toys section (Carlos Perez) a co-worker and they fall in love, but Carlos lies Lupita, he’s actually Alfredo Rochild, Gregorio Rochild’s son, the owner of the department store.
I used to have a crush on the main character Eduardo Palomo.
I have an anecdote, sometimes I couldn’t watch the end of the episode and I asked my dad about it and he always answered me “Lupita was sitting on the moon” and I got angry because that was part of the credits.
With these memories I thought “I’m going to watch it everyday” and guess what, it finishes the next week. All I’m going to do it’s enjoy it until the finale.
