i love AJ so much and I want him to be happy.,
Rochelle makes him happy., so I love Rochelle too.,

He deserves the best in this life.
Sincerely, I was so shocked at that moment, but I know he's so happy.. so I'm happy too :)

I agree with you girls. I too was SHOCKED when I found out. Mostly because she was never talked about I didn't even know he had a girlfriend! But now that I've had time to take it in and see how happy he is I'm happy. It's kind of like your kids all you want is for them to be happy no matter what. Well thats the way I feel about Alex and the other boys. Rochelle seems to make him very happy so I'm happy.

The media can both make and break somebody. The way they display a celebrity doesn't necessarily correspond to the way he or she wants to be known to the public. I don't care too much about celebs' private lives, but that doesn't mean I don't wish everybody their personal happiness.

I don't understand why people are shocked when someone else finds their love, even when they're famous. As far as information in the media about celebs' private lives goes, the Dutch saying "take it with a grain of salt" applies (which means: don't accept/believe the presented information mindlessly as is). In my opinion, people too easily think they can really know a celebrity through the media. Celebs' private lives is none of our businesses!

Of course I'm happy for Alex, as I would be for anyone else

well you cannot deny the fact that because HE IS FAMOUS, his fans had to know., And I care about his personal life because I care about him., That's how much I love him., And I am not shocked because I don't think he deserves to be happy., HE DOES., HE MUST., and HE SHOULD., Alex has been very nice to his fans all his life so the happiness is well deserved.,

We care, because we like AJ the artist, and what we love is his artistic work and the image we have of him. But we can't really know him like you know your best friend, for example.

Is being nice to fans a prerequisite for deserving happiness? It's great that he is and always has been, of course but everyone deserves happiness in their own right, in my opinion.

my post is kind of late but u know what when I found out about AJ getting engaged I was surprised and I guess my second feeling was me hoping that AJ wasnt gonna be heart broken again..I was wondering was this just another thing to do..I didnt look at it completely serious..I guess I was a little irritated because I Was just thinking that it wasnt serious & I wanted AJ to do something that was truly gonna make him happy..after I started learning more about Rochelle my mind started to ease little by little because she seems like an extremely sweet girl..she would be a type of grl whom I would befriend and I could see why Aj loved her..she reminded me a bit of myself too..It started to make sense and I started to look at it is something tangable that looked like it would actually work out..I read where someone posted that AJ said he was in love 4 the 1st time & thats something that surprised me but if he is in love finally then I am so happy for him because I truly want AJ to be happy..I just want him to be safe and ok..Im protective over his heart..he is my boo..I mean duh of course I wish that I could of been the one that won his heart..I know if he met me on a personal level we would have clicked so well but because of obvious circumstances that didnt happen but he will always be my first love..even my husband knows that lol..its a kind of bitter sweet feeling I felt and feel

I agree with all of you, i thought the same things when i heard it for the first time about getting engaged, but i think she the best girlfriend he ever had comparing to all the others, that we know of.
I don't know the other exes, but they always seemed a little fake to me, not being been or something like that, i just meant, they never were AJ's soulmates, you can see that.
I truly think that Rochelle is his soulmate, and couldn't have found a better person in his life to be sharing his life with!
