:~: FIGHTING Seasickness TIPS :~:

If you start taking the Dramamine a few days BEFORE you get on the boat,
it'll work a hundred times better than taking it when you get on the boat.
It takes at least 24hrs for a full effect with Dramamine.

Well here's some tips for AJ, lol …. or if anyone going wants to help him
* the closer to the bottom decks the cabin is, the less movement he will feel
~ and to the center... the higher up the worse it gets.
* keep a full stomach, carbs & stuff... not things that are just gonna go round and round in ur belly lol
* eat green apples.... great for sea sickness!
* so are saltine crackers
* aaaaaaaaaand GINGER ALE! best thing ever!
But I should know I spent 4 years at sea. I worked for Royal Caribbean for 4 years, most amazing time ever! Being at sea is just amazing, I miss it everyday

MORE info: Prevention and remedy for Seasickness
Over-the-counter and prescription medications such as dramamine,[3] scopolamine[4] and promethazine[5] (as transdermal patches and tablets) are readily available. As these medications often have side effects, anyone involved in high-risk activities while at sea (such as SCUBA divers) must evaluate the risks versus the benefits.[6][7][8][9] Ginger capsules are also considered effective in preventing motion sickness.[11] Some sufferers find that wearing special wristbands helps stave off the condition.[12][13]
Those suffering from seasickness who are unaccustomed to the motion of a ship often find relief by:keeping their mind occupied
• taking anti-seasickness/nausea capsules
• keeping their eyes directed to the fixed shore or horizon, where possible
• lying down on their backs and closing their eyes
• move into a position where fresh air is blowing on their face
• sucking on crystallized ginger, sipping ginger tea or taking a capsule of ginger.
• moving to the boat's center of gravity to eliminate motion due to translation (but not pitch, roll and yaw): see SS Bessemer.
• taking the helm of a yacht can reduce sickness as the sufferer has something to concentrate on, and can also anticipate the movement of the vessel
